Question
I have tried to update my Laptop more then 5 times and after the update has download (again) then restarts to install, it fails at 40%, then message appears «Windows Could Not Configure One Or More System Components». I have seen there is a log, which I have if required.
I have troubleshooted Windows Update and check Updates, but none to add.
Answers
You may download the standalone update of Windows 10 Anniversary update and make an ISO of it for installation.

How in hell is this an answer? This is exactly what I did and there is no way the installation will continue past about 47%? Why won’t Microsoft help with this? How hard can it be to copy files to my computer?
I worked further on information I found in one of the links here and it was suggested that I post the log file. I hope this is the right one.

Could you help me to found what could be wrong.

I found a workaround, as I am not using IIS,
I booted using a live CD and renamed the inetsrv directory in system32.
Then I rebooted the PC and I could disabled IIS features.
I restarted the upgrade to 1809 successfully up to the end and everything seems to work correctly, the inetsrv directory has even been recreated.

According to THIS MS ARTICLE, it is driver related.
How are you using the Media Creation Tool to update? Did you create media or running directly? Make sure you allow it to check for updates as part of the upgrade process. Also, follow the other recommendations for unplugging all but necessary peripherals.
Yes, I restarted several times with all the recommendations and checking found in forums.
I used Media Creation Tool running directly.
BT\Sources\Panther I saw the following «Error Summary» that could produce this issue, but I do know what I can do.
You are having problems with the update,
direct from the windows update service make
an attempt to reinstall the update manually
through the microsoft website.
Yes it is what I was thinking.
I do not know how to force disable/remove IIS features I tried with DISM but same error 0x800F0922
I am looking forums to found how to force remove IIS.
McAfee installed? Or any other 3rd party Antivirus?
For errors on uninstalling features, we have to look at
C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
Thank you for looking at my issue.
I am using Avast Antivirus but I tested with Avast disabled, same problem.
I executed the command dism /online /Disable-Feature /FeatureName:IIS-NetFxExtensibility45
That produce the error and below the >CBS.log (cleaned)

What Causes the “Windows could not configure one or more system components” Error?
There are several things to look out for if you want to stay away from this annoying error code. Here is the full list:
Solution 1: Remove Certain Files From Your Computer
If your computer’s keys that IIS (Internet Information Server) uses to encrypt the configuration store using the AES Provider are somehow missing or corrupted, then the provider instantiation will fail.
Because of the fact that the Window 10 installer will also try to install IIS (Internet Information Server), and this fails, the upgrade fails and is rolled back. The correct way to solve this problem is to remove certain files from your computer. They will be recreated once you run the Windows 10 installer.
Solution 2: Try Using the Media Creation Tool
If an update was released for Windows 10 and you tried to install it the conventional way before you received the error code, you might want to try an alternative which consists of using the Windows Media Creation Tool. This is a file you download from Microsoft’s official website. You will be given the option to update Windows to the latest build after you download it.
Solution 3: Uninstall Your Old Wi-Fi Drivers and Update Others
Old and outdated drivers are also a known cause for this issue. There are several different ways in which the drivers are to blame. Some users claim that their old Wi-Fi driver was to blame and they were able to solve the problem by uninstalling it.
Others claim that they needed to update all of their drivers before proceeding. Try out both of these methods and see which one works the best for you!
Solution 4: Uninstall IIS
Internet Information Services (IIS, formerly Internet Information Server) is an extensible web server created by Microsoft for use with the Windows NT family. IIS supports HTTP, HTTP/2, HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, SMTP and NNTP.
If you are not using it, you should know that it could be the culprit behind your frustrations regarding this error and you should consider uninstalling it immediately!
Solution 5: Unplug your SD Card Reader
This might be an odd way to solve the problem but plenty of users suggested that the problem has automatically fixed itself after users have disconnected the SD card from their respective computers. You can reconnect if after the update finishes or after you install Windows successfully!

GUID Partition Table (GPT) is a boot sector technology poised to replace the venerable Master Boot Record (MBR) principally because MBR has a maximum capacity of 2 TB for a single partition (some single disks have reached 3 TB). Installing Windows on a GPT is a bit tricky because Windows wants to default back to MBR. In order to force Windows on to a GPT, we have to pre-format the drive prior to Windows installation. You can do that during Windows setup using the console.
Requirements
• Windows Vista or 7 (must be 64-bit no matter which OS is used)
• A motherboard with EFI BIOS
• A means to EFI boot the Windows setup (I had to use a USB DVD drive on MSI Z77A-G65, the internal SATA Bluray drives didn’t have an EFI option)
«online disk» and «attributes disk clear readonly» are likely to fail. Don’t worry, they are only precautionary. Change the drive letter and label to whatever you want. Also, the above command (specifically «create partition primary») will consume all remaining space on the drive. If you want multiple partitions with fixed sizes, substitute what you want in place of «create partition primary.»
4. You may now close the command prompt and click on «Refresh» back in the dialog to choose where to install Windows. You should now see at least 2 partitions (I think Microsoft Reserved is hidden) and it will only let you install on a non EFI/MSR partition. Click on the primary partition and proceed with the installation as normal.
5. Note that in the EFI BIOS after installing Windows via EFI, you can no longer directly boot the volume Windows is installed on. Instead, you must boot via «Windows Boot Manager» (on MSI Z77A-G65, it was «UEFI: Windows Boot Manager»). Keep that in mind if you wish to tweak the boot order
